The laboratories are equipped with modern rheometers for rheological investigations on elastomers, thermoplastics, thermosets and liquids:
- Oscillating measurement: Shear deformation and frequency dependence of the viscoelastic properties
(temperature range between -30 °C and 200 °C) - Rotating measurement: Viscosity measurement on liquids, determination of flow behavior
- Rheological measurement (rotating and oscillating) on liquids and elastomers in the magnetic and electric field
- Investigation of thermal crosslinking reaction of addition curing polymers (rapid heating rate)
